Bridal Shower Looks

Bridal shower season is upon us, and I have to say I loved searching for a bridal shower dress. I had a vision for what I wanted everything leading up to my wedding to look like. If you know me, you know that I am obsessed with Vogue magazines, old ones especially. I have collected hundreds over the years and every so often I go through some of them. When it came time to look for a shower dress, I searched some of my Vogue magazines and found my inspiration through there. Again, if you have read my wedding blogs you know my motto: What would I think of this in ten years from now?

So, I wanted to create something based off my inspiration from my Vogue magazine along with my wedding planning motto. Lauren, from Lelaurier was creating my “dress before the dress” and all our hair and makeup robes, so I wanted her to make my bridal shower dress as well. I knew she had the exact fabric and touch that I was looking for and I just knew it was going to be perfect. We sketched the silhouette and the outline of what I wanted. We also created two other designs within that same concept just in case we didn’t like how the first dress looked on me. When it came time for my fitting, I was completely blown away by how absolutely perfect it was on me. My exact vision came to life, and I couldn’t have been happier.

Picking a bridal shower dress is such a memorable moment in your life and it is especially important to follow your gut and go with your vision.
